Visual Artist Partner — Terms of Participation
Introduction
KDSTR (Kidstar Radio) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts and media education. As part of our mission, we offer a platform to showcase visual artists and authors through our Community Partners Program. By participating, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Participation and Eligibility
- Participation is open to visual artists and authors who wish to have their work featured on Kidstar.org.
- Artists must provide a high-quality image of one selected piece to be displayed in the Community Partners gallery.
- KDSTR reserves the right to approve or decline submissions based on quality, relevance, and appropriateness of content.
- Participation is non-exclusive — artists may freely promote or display their work elsewhere.
Display and Promotion
- Each artist will have their work featured in the Community Partners gallery with a link to their website or a dedicated gallery page hosted on Kidstar.org.
- Artists who choose to use the KDSTR-hosted gallery will have a contact form available for potential buyers to reach out directly.
- KDSTR may promote Community Partner artwork using digital strategies such as Google Ads, social media, and other marketing tools.
- KDSTR reserves the right to lightly edit artist-provided descriptions or bios for clarity, formatting, or grammatical consistency.
Fees and Donations
- There are no fees associated with participation in the Community Partners Program.
- There are no commissions collected by KDSTR.
- Artists who receive exposure-related sales or commissions are warmly invited to support KDSTR’s nonprofit mission with a voluntary donation of any amount.
Artist Responsibilities
- Artists must ensure they have the legal rights to any artwork submitted and grant KDSTR permission to display and promote it on Kidstar.org and in related outreach materials.
- Artists retain full ownership of their work and are responsible for all aspects of any resulting transactions, including pricing, sales, and shipping.
- Artists using a KDSTR-hosted gallery must maintain accurate contact information to ensure accessibility to potential buyers.
Liability and Indemnification
- KDSTR is not responsible for any disputes, transactions, or issues that arise between artists and buyers.
- Artists agree to indemnify and hold KDSTR harmless against any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their participation in the Community Partners Program.
Modification and Termination
- KDSTR reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Community Partners Program at any time.
- Artists may request the removal of their work from Kidstar.org at any time by providing written notice.
Agreement
By participating in the Community Partners Program, artists acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms of participation.
